My name is Dustin Friesen. I was born in June of 1988 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. I sort of have this thing for photography: I like it and so far it's been a mutual relationship. In high school I took some classes in photography and graphic design as well. I still like it, so I will be pursuing it further and plan on majoring in photography/graphic design at Taylor University, where I will be attending in fall '08. So I'm still a pretty young photographer and in my photography I like trying to break the rules - so long as it doesn't look like dirt - because as any artist knows, art isn't about following rules; true art is about freedom and honest expression. Above everything, however, I really desire to give my Creator the glory for everything I do! Whether I go into business or travel or whatever I do with my future, I need God to be the center, only then will I be content with my life and impact in the lives of others. God has made everything beautiful, and I long to capture that beauty through the gift God has given me, to be a co-creator with Him and share the beauty of His creation with you.
